Isaiah Daudu, Oke Oyi, Ilorin East LGA, Kwara State (2014 - 2022)
“I am Isaiah Daudu, an SS3 student of Community Secondary School, Oke Oyi Oja. Sometimes in 2014, Hilltrust top foundation (HTF) brought me to limelight by persuading me to stop street begging and embrace enrolment in school, I was already 17 years old then. I saw hope in their approach and enrolled at Oke oyi LGEA primary school. My next challenge was how to feed since I feed my grandma and myself through begging but community support through SBMC and good Samaritans came to my aid. I also had problem in crawling to school so HTF got me the wheelchair I was using. Due to accelerated learning, I finished primary school in less than 3 years and now in my SS3, I am done with WAEC and about rounding up with NECO examination. I thank Hilltrust top Foundation for their unrelenting efforts at seeing me embrace this way of life.”
Saadatu Usman, Baure, Katsina State (2022)
“I thank Katsina AGILE PIU for engaging this team (Hilltrust Top foundation team) to build our capacities as community mobilizers. I knew next to nothing on community mobilization before now but with the series of trainings from their master trainers, my capacity is now built so much that in my first visit to the communities.”

I am Mustapha Aminu, a 500 level Civil Engineering student at Bayero University Kano. I was luckily selected as an Oando foundation scholar in primary six in 2014 at Daurama Primary School, Daura Katsina State and still remain a beneficiary till now by meeting the required academic conditions to remain a scholar. I am presently on a CGPA of 4.51(first class) and hope to improve on this grade and graduate on same first class. I sincerely thank Hilltrust top foundation (HTF), the implementing partner for Oando foundation (OF) for all the supports and follow up by relaying our concerns to Oando Foundation and reverting back to us. Thanks to OF and HTF teams.”

Bello Kabiru, Ayetoro Oja LGEA, Kwara State (2015)
“We didn’t like to come to school because school was boring, then one day, a group of people (Hilltrust Top Foundation team) came to our school and asked what we want in school so that we will be happy to come and we told them – A big playing ground with enough playing stuff…..they promised to do something about it. After about 2 months, they brough this merry go around and mobilized community to help us clean the school environment. Now, we are happy to come to school as we eagerly look up to break time when we play……we are happy and say thank you to them.”
